Kitenge is an East African cotton fabric printed in various colors and distinctive patterns. It has its origin from Kiswahili Kitenge. It is often worn by women and wrapped around the chest or waist, over the head as a headscarf, or as a baby sling.

It is popular in many African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Liberia, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
